The Department of Torrevieja opts to 7 awards at the 6th Edition of the National Awards Best in Class
-is the first time that Torrevieja Department reaches 7 nominations in these prestigious national awards. The specialties that the Hospital in Torrevieja chooses these awards are Traumatology, Gynecology, urgent care, internal medicine, Nephrology and ophthalmology
-the seventh nomination has fallen in the Centre of health La Loma, only Center in the Valencian Community who opts for the award for best primary care service
Torrevieja, 2011-September the Department of health of Torrevieja is nominated in 7 categories of the sixth edition of the prestigious National Awards Best in Class. These awards grants annually the publication specializing in the health sector medical Gazette and the Chair of innovation and management health of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, in collaboration with the Spanish Association for standardisation and certification (AENOR).
It is the first year that the Health Department, Torrevieja achieved 7 nominations in these prestigious National Awards (1 nomination in 2008, five in 2009 and 4 in 2010). On this occasion, the hospital specialties who choose the award are Traumatology, Gynecology, urgent care, internal medicine, Nephrology and ophthalmology. The seventh nomination has fallen in the Centre of health La Loma, only Center in the Valencian Community that chooses the best service for primary care recognition.
The Manager of the Department of health of Torrevieja, Dr. Frank Leyn, emphasised the work of the professionals that make up each of the services and its commitment to placing the Centre at the forefront of public health care ”.
The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 5 October, in the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Sevilla. In this edition there have been 306 health services of the national health system, belonging to 14 autonomous communities.
