Transfusion Center and the Department of Arnaldus appreciate the solidarity of Paterna.

Valencia, February 2012. Saturday, January 28, a mobile unit of the Centre for transfusion moved to Paterna Colegio Miguel de Cervantes to celebrate the day of blood donation. It was an extraordinary donation, as every month come in addition to the usual points.

Trasfusión Center celebrates this kind of action in a timely manner in different localities to encourage and raise in blood donation. From the year 2009 was not celebrated this campaign in Paterna and had forecast that at least 150 neighbors come to collaborate with your donation. But reality surpassed all forecasts since that was attended by 239 neighbors, whose donation was 225 effective units of blood, with 16 people who came for the first time to donate.

Comunitat transfusion Center and the Department of health Valencia – Arnau de Vilanova appreciates the interest shown by the campaign, which was visited by the Councillor for health, peace Rodriguez to City Hall. You were also with the collaboration of Caixa Rural de Torrent, which presented donors with a blanket.

Last year were 974 effective units of blood in the town of Paterna.
