the past Thursday 1 September we learned that the Ministry of health had requested to Twitter using all the mechanisms that had in their hands to isolate those profiles that incited to not eat. Before this application Twitter responds with a rejection to block these profiles, defending freedom of expression of individuals
The request by the Ministry of health came from an citizen initiative, said Leire Pajin, many had been received messages asking that there were no profiles which are encouraged to anorexia.
Although these messages broadcast does not imply any type of crime, should be preventive measures, as the young population is very sensitive to eating disorders and is exposed to this kind of comments. The Government still on war footing and will continue despite having rejected his request to tracking the web in search of messages or accounts may be removed.
