Torrevieja, 2011-January the Hospital USP San Jaime has published a calendar which aims to raise awareness about the disease and to introduce healthy life habits in the life of the citizens. For this reason, each month brings on the reverse a Health Council on prevention and healthy lifestyle habits on a particular specialty, a compilation of the most representative of medical activity in the Hospital.
Thus the calendar especially noted those dates that at the international level are recognized as global days of awareness of some kind of ailment. In the calendar are days international representative of the healthcare activity of the Centre, as the World Cancer day or the day of Cardiovascular risk prevention.
The Managing Director of the Hospital USP San Jaime, Roberto Ferrándiz, pointed out that we wanted to raise awareness in society of the need to develop healthy habits of life, of the importance of prevention through periodic reviews monitored by specialists and the value of developing a treatment in the hands of experts ”explained Ferrándiz.
A total of twelve specialists from USP San Jaime have collaborated in the calendar with the aim of bringing the message of the importance of prevention in health. The specialists involved in the calendar are:
