vÃa Libre takes part in the II International Congress of the AETB

Madrid, March 2012.- VÃa Libre, company of the business group of the eleven founding (Fundosa group), has participated with a booth in the II International Congress of the Spanish Association of therapists trained in the Bobath (AETB) concept: Bobath concept: essence and trend ”, that has taken place on 9, 10 and 11 March in Madrid.
The Congress had addressed to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, logoterapeutas, doctors specialized in the field of Neurology and health sciences students.
The aim of this initiative has been to foster learning and the improvement of daily clinical practice with neurological patients, and progress with the new trends, at the same time maintaining the essence and the basic principles of the Bobath concept.
Thus, through this theoretical and practical Conference, various presentations varied topics, roundtables, and workshops taught by tutors Bobath, professionals from the world of Neurology (adult and child), and other experts with extensive training in the Bobath concept have been developed.
From via Libre, has bet on this Congress to enhance augmentative communication and systems of stimulation of particular interest to all professionals who work with patients with neurological disorders, both adults and children.
The Bobath concept according to the AETB is a therapeutic concept for the holistic treatment of people with neurological disorders, which was developed in the 1950s by Dr. Karel Bobath and Ms. Berta Bobath. It is currently based, on the one hand, advances in neurophysiology and neuroscience knowledge of motor control, motor learning, plasticity neural and muscular, and biomechanics. On the other hand, the clinical experience of experts and in the needs and expectations of patients.
