Spain, 2011-July during the child age and, in adolescence, one of the aspects of diabetes that needs special attention is psychological.

adaptation to the treatment of diabetes and the changes that occur during adolescence makes, sometimes arising doubts and concerns in the family environment. Psychological support to adolescents and their parents helps improve life with diabetes at this stage.

to respond to many of these concerns the Foundation for Diabetes, in collaboration with the Federation of diabetics in the Valencian Community, calls the VII seminar practical psychology and Diabetes for parents and adolescents, which is now open to the term of registration.

the program of day and a half of duration (on weekends), includes theoretical sessions – practices addressing aspects related to each age group in which the participants are divided. In addition, group of adolescents performs during the Saturday evening a sport with training content in diabetes.
