X Congreso Nacional de Barcelona SEEIC.
Barcelona, may 2012.- the Spanish society of Electromedicine and Clinical Engineering (SEEIC) held its National Congress X next month of September in the World Trade Center (WTC) of Barcelona, more specifically, on 26, 27 and 28 of this month. The motto chosen on this occasion, ‘ technology is the how. The patient, the why ’, reflects the axis of this meeting: the binomial ‘ paciente-tecnologÃa ’.
The Organization of this Congress is an opportunity to bring together all professionals engaged in the sector of health technology. These specialists are the technological guarantors of security, quality, availability, and compliance of the equipment electromedical, for which they are responsible.
, in an economic context such as the present, its integrative role becomes essential to achieve the maximum quality and efficiency in health care, without forgetting the sustainability of the health system.
East Congress allows us to share news and concerns of our industry, as well as recent advances and future prospects in the field of health technology ”, says Jesus Lucinio Manzanares Pedroche, President of the SEEIC.
A full scientific programme for the three days of the Congress, with the goal that attendees deepen in the latest developments in the sector of the Electromedicine and clinical engineering has been developed. In addition, this event aims to become a discussion forum in which participants can intervene actively.
European models in Electromedicine services; past, present and future of minimally invasive surgery; alternatives and cost-saving measures in the use of health technology; or telemedicine, are some of the many topics that are expected in the scientific program.
In the words of the President and the Vice-President of the Organizing Committee of this Assembly, Raquel Cánovas and Joan Carles wheel, through the Organization of this Congress seek to achieve three objectives: focusing our work on the patient, making of quality personal care technology available in a sustainable manner; achieve a greater relationship and strengthen ties between our collective; and exchange experiences and join forces to bring together interests ”.
About the SEEIC
The Spanish society of Electromedicine and Clinical Engineering (SEEIC) is a national institution for scientific and technical character acting, among others, with the goal of being the partner to promote, before the public and private agencies, management and professional standardization of standards and requirements necessary for the correct application of the electromedical equipment.
It’s a society pioneered Spain currently has about 300 partners who develop their activity in companies, health centres and other organizations and institutions related to technology electromédica.
